The rave reviews and constantly full tables at Let's Burger just reinforce for me that people in Beijing have no taste -- how else could Annie's win awards year after year?
First of all, why do we have to order at the counter when there are so many staff? More importantly, Let's Burger doesn't do much beyond burgers -- so why can't they be cooked to order? What is the point of a burger joint if you can't tell them how you want the burger cooked?
Beyond all this, the burgers just aren't that good, and for being not cooked to order and not very good, they are overpriced. Any burger on the Blue Frog menu is better than what's on offer here. Union Bar & Grille's cheeseburger is also better, and for almost the same price. Fans of this place like that it's open late and that the fries are good, but so what? Tried it twice, was not impressed either time, haven't been back. I like Let's Seafood and that almost makes me one to give Burger a third chance, but that's unlikely.
