Went to Morel's at the invitation of a friend, and left impressed. Quite honestly, Comic Sans on an ad pains me.
In any case, their bread is very good, and there's a lot of it. Mains-wise, everything I tried (pork sausages, duck breast, beef stew) was hearty, generously-apportioned and tasty. I'd perhaps not order the pork sausage next time, though - the sausages themselves (four of them) weren't really what I expected, which was fat, solid Bratwursty thumpers. I got small, finger-thick sausages, with a rather smooth texture. Tasty, but not what I expected. Would like to return for their lunch deal. Am pleased that they serve framboise beer, because I not-so-secretly enjoy ridiculously girly beer.
