22nd March. Dinner @ Migas. 8 people, 3,000 RMB for mediocre food. The people all in customer service related industries. Request from waitress to get some lemon juice and hot water. After 20 minutes, no water and no waitress. So I looked for the manager (overweight guy with glasses) and explained the situation to him. He replied, "maybe we don't have lemon". I showed him BOTH Lemon AND Lime on the drinks cart. He said "these are lemons, not lemon juice". I told him, "you CAN get lemon juice from lemons!". The MANAGER of Migas' reply was: "I know you. You are the owner of those restaurants. Why don't you come work for me as a waiter, and then you can squeeze your own juice!".... I was too dumb-struck and shocked to even come up with a reply. Yes, this is Beijing. Yes, we are used to bad customer service, but THIS?
