Taking a Cue from Propaganda: Solutions Opens in Wudaokou

You can’t blame the owners of this Wudaokou club for taking its cues from Propaganda. In size, layout and feel, Solutions is virtually identical to its neighbor. For now, Solutions is the less packed of the two, although the first-floor lounge and downstairs dance floor liven up on Thursdays when students flock to Ladies’ Night (three free drinks for girls).

Tsingtaos and tequila shots are RMB 5 every day, with basic mixed drinks just RMB 10. Don’t assume that budget prices mean shoddy drinks, either. Solutions’ Sex on the Beach and Mai Tai (RMB 20) are the best mixed drinks you’ll find in Wudaokou, and they also blend up a pretty fine Baileys banana mocktail.

This upstart seems destined for a bright future.
