Is Your House Getting Colder?

If your apartment is feeling a little colder than normal, you’re not imagining things. Today, the city turns off the heating (exact time unknown), after having given us an extra three days to get over the cold snap that was predicted. Now we can only wait and hope that temperatures don’t drop again, but we should probably keep our winter blankets nearby just in case.

Let's take a look at the upcoming forecast. While the daytime temperatures are getting warmer, the nights may still have a slight chill. If you’re worried that you won’t be able to add enough layers, you can always look to Taobao for electric blankets or space warmers to keep you warm. Or you can use the last of the cold weather to sit back with a hot drink before the bars take the buttered rums and hot toddies off the menu.

Whether you choose to fight or embrace the possible cold, it doesn’t appear that it will last long. Before you know it, we’ll be cursing summer for its oppressive heat and humidity and wondering if winter was really all that bad.
