Feeling thirsty? Wet your whistle with Booze News, our wrap-up of the week's best bar deals, parties, drink concoctions, industry gossip, and more.

Ladies Night at El Barrio

Aside from being a major destination for Mexican grub at Nali Patio, El Barrio is also working to become a party hotspot via its picturesque rooftop and well-stocked tequila menu. What's more: they're now hosting a ladies night every Thursday from opening until 10.30pm, during which female patrons can enjoy free-flow Prosecco.

Foam Lab's Happy Together Super Mario Party

Free-flow craft beer, snacks like Argentinian red shrimp and German sausages, and a handful of fun-loving DJs should all make this party the place to be in the Chaoyang Park area on Saturday.

The party is a kickoff of sorts for the new management at this pre-existing bar and restaurant. That's right: the crew behind Fangjia Hutong hotspot The Great Outdoors have taken the reigns at Foam Lab. Aside from throwing more attractive events like this, which the bar was not known for in its prior incarnation, we also can't wait to see what the well reputed Great Outdoor brew enthusiasts will do with Foam Lab's beer menu. Jing-A's Feast From the Middle East

Jing-A is kicking off a new dinner series that is sure to perk up your appetite. The Xingfucun taproom's first Long Table Series event is called Feast From the Middle East, and it features a three-course family-style dinner rife with smoked meats and hummus slathered bread, not to mention enticing craft beer pairings.

Cases of that newly bottled brew are on for a special low price of RMB 280. Cases of Monkey's Fist IPA and Zombie Pirate Ale, which have long been available by the bottle and are popular among Beijing beer drinkers, are on for 20 percent off.
