Want a taste of Tibetan culture without having to hike to the high Himalayas? please join RASBJ on Nov 21 to meet Kristel Ouwehand and some of her students who’ll introduce their art and handicrafts. Too often when we travel as tourists we see magnificent sights but have little time to get to know the real people and cultures inhabiting our destinations. Here’s your chance to linger a moment with Kristel and her students, who are from a Tibetan community in Gansu. Their handicrafts will be on show and for sale — tick off some boxes on your Christmas shopping list!
